The focus is no longer just the process of how care is delivered, but on the outcome of that care. Connie's session, Creating Amazing Results in the Health Care Arena, will discuss the insomnia-producing issues of quality, cost and talent. Emerging issues related to the economy and health care reform will be included in the program.
Ginny Beeson is a nurse executive, consultant and educator with over 30 years experience in nursing. Ginny's first session, Changing the Culture of Nursing: Building a More Professional Future, is going to challenge the audience to examine the culture of nursing today. When others look at us, what do they see? hear? notice? Ginny's lively and engaging presentation will teach conference attendees what their part is in changing the culture of nursing and building a more positive and professional future. Ginny's second presentation, Why Courage?, will explore what is meant by courage as a leadership skill, why it is so important in today's reapidly changing world, and provide several suggestions on how to become a more courageous leader.
